We were contacted by Clare who had recently had a conservatory built on the back of her property in Crawley in West Sussex, her conservatory was not only a great addition to her property but also added more space to her home but even though the glass in the conservatory roof was designed to reduce heat and glare it was still way too hot and as the conservatory was built in an open plan way giving full access to her living room the build of heat from the conservatory also affected the temperature within the living room and there was also a lot of glare from the sunlight which made it difficult to see the TV screen properly too.
Clare was completely unaware of solar control window film but after researching possible solutions to the heat and glare issue in her conservatory she came across our website and contacted us and to arrange a free and friendly site visit by our installation manager who explained and physically demonstrated the different Solar Energy Reduction Film options and worked out that in this instance it would be more effective to have an external version of our S.E.R.F. 20 installed and also worked out a guide price there and then prior to sending her a written quote.
So once everything had been explained and demonstrated and the work costed Clare knew what the film looked like, how well it works and how much it would cost.
Clare then agreed to have the S.E.R.F. 20 installed externally and the installation was carried out on a convenient date within 5 working days.
Window Film – conservatory roof
Trustpilot 5 star review
From the very first email enquiring about having window film for my conservatory roof to the final stages of installing and after care, I received exceptional customer service from Able Install. My conservatory room has been very hot since the summer, the window film has been very effective at reducing the temperature and glare so we can now use the room intended the way we wanted to when we first had the conservatory built. Thank you so much Jackie, Rob and Cliff from start to finish in making this such an easy process I am now enjoying my conservatory!!!
